I’m really not stupid
Dear Sarcastic Sage,
I am tired of people treating me like I am an idiot. I’ve made some mistakes in the past, but then again who hasn’t. I know I don’t always think things through and a lot of what I’ve done has been driven on impulse. That doesn’t mean though I am stupid or inept. How do I get people to start treating me like I know what I doing without making myself look more like an idiot.
-Wouldn’t you like to know?
Dear “Wouldn’t you like to know?”,
Often times, those who believe themselves to be of average or above average intelligence or ability, usually fall into two groups. Individuals in the first group wrongly average out the intelligence or abilities of the general population solely on their circle of friends and acquaintances. The second type falsely evaluates the intelligence of others as subpar (for how can a stupid person know whether or not he is stupid?). In both cases, the result is the same: the person doing the evaluation ends up with an overinflated figure about his own intelligence.
Now, if you’ve managed to get through this explanation without curling up in a fetal position and cowering in the corner of your room, you must realize that life has, more likely than not, dealt you a bum hand, and that you’ll have to get used to a life of being treated like an idiot (or rather, the idiot that you are).
Sincerely,

Would you like terrible advice? Why not ask the Sarcastic Sage?

:DDD . . . The sarcastic sage is here!!!
Ok.Ok. My turn now!
Being stupid makes people feel free to be who they really are(not always) Being more stupid than usual is when you try to even the field(not always). Making stupid remarks is when you try to sound as intelligent(not always)When you think that your thoughts sound deep and you feel dumbfounded you have then reached the core of your enter word here(not always). That was fun!Thank you for the spark of inspiration dear sarcastic sage and “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
I spy with my little eye two errors in the following sentence: “How do I get people to start treating me like I know what I doing without making myself look more like an idiot.”
If “thinking things” is the mark of intelligence and wisdom, then this person has proven that (s)he is an idiot by admitting that “[I do] things on impulse”.
Also, do learn how to write properly. A healthy respect for grammar and syntax may do wonders to your reputation.
