This came as an absolute shock. How can anyone take their own side in the media circus that is reality television? For those of you who don’t know who Jon Gosselin is (what is wrong with you anyway? Don’t you watch every useless and disgusting reality show that’s on TV?), he is the fraternal half of a couple who has eight children, who parade their offspring on TV in exchange for money. But not all is well in Gosselin land. You see, boys and girls, Jon Gosselin is now dating a hot young girl by the name of Hailey Glassman (22), and is pretty much finished with Kate (who wants to be in movies now).

Now there are reports that Gosselin and Glassman are on the outs, but Jon was quick to put an end to that rumor. He clarified that they are simply taking it slow until his divorce with Kate is final. This silly rumor got legs when Glassman appeared on The Insider and accused Jon of being emotionally abusive and throwing “mantrums”.
According to Gosselin, “I was standing right there [at The Insider]. Mike [Gosselin's manager] was standing right there. He was looking at me like, ‘Oh my god, what is she saying?’ He’s looking at my career going down the tubes and I’m thinking, ‘Good for her, she got all of this out.’ ” (People.com)
Wow! Good for you Jon. Way to support your woman.
Also, I have a solution for your dilemma of being misunderstood. Maybe you can have your manager work on getting you out of the limelight. You know, so you don’t have to worry about how you haven’t won the Nobel Peace Prize yet.

Both of them are huge disappointments… they once seemed like really nice people who had good heads on their shoulders (and were willing to work on themselves) that people could learn from. Then all the sudden they get a few free vacations and some fame and they become the scum of TV land. Jon and Kate deserve each other… and the kids deserve parents who want to be parents not side show freaks.
Maybe he should just go for the Nobel. I mean…all he really needs to do is use that limelight to tell everyone he’d like to make the world to be a better place, possibly, someday, and BAM! Nobel Prize. Which would REALLY impress his kids and girlfriends, right?

I’d just like to first of all, point out to Courtney (and Sarah) that they didn’t “decide” to have 8 kids. They wanted a third child after their twins Maddie and Cara, and ended up with 6 instead of 1. Not their fault. (But look at the Duggars; that WAS definitely on purpose!)
And I agree with Sam, and diana. Imagine yourself in their place. How would you like that? The show was “supposed to be to record their lives, like home videos”, and it ended up ruining their marriage. But maybe Jon woulda cheated even if they hadn’t done the show, maybe they woulda divorced anyways. I just hope this mess ends, and am looking forward to the new “Kate + 8″, which will be apparently replacing “John&Kate+8″.

i have to agree, whats so great about them having to rise 8 kids? just b/c they had twins then 6 more later goodie for them. I’m the six child out of 8 and i don’t wish i was on t.v. plus it’d be really borring execpt for holidays thats when the fights break out. but i wouldn’t want that taped. i have a hard enough time supressing those memories.
