Over the years the media and the public has repaid Mr. West’s quiet and dignified humility with nothing but jokes and accusations of arrogance and full-of-crapness. Today, The Sarcasmist is taking a stand against all the mean-spirited jokes and attacks.
Why can’t a recording artist (that’s right, he is an artist!) implicitly call himself a genius without being called smug and full of himself? He has won multiple awards for his world-shattering music. Can you even begin to comprehend what the World would be like if Kanye West wasn’t a genius? There would be wars in the Middle East, weird flu strains, and the economy would be struggling to recover.
Let’s all rise up against the Kanye bashers, especially Talyor Swift who can’t deal with the reality that Beyonce is so much more fabulous than she is!

One I love country and I know a number of people who do! I have nothing against either singer they do what they do and please their crowd! So just because some one isn’t your type of music doesn’t mean some one else doesn’t love them! Think about it I’m sure u can thing of a song or artist or band that you like that people rag on! we all have different tastes so stop jumping down country folks throats! If I didn’t live in Canada then I could comment more accurately on this particular post. However, the power mongers that be in this country don’t allow us to view or listen to most content outside our geographic boundaries so I’m pretty much f*d.

It’s true. We aren’t allowed to view or listen to outside media from other countries on the internet. I mean there is some stuff that slips through of course, but most of the time you get one of those errors telling you that the media is not available in your country. They also strictly monitor television and satellite radio signals. It’s a crock.
Firstly, Taylor Swift’s music is NOT country.
Secondly, Kanye West IS a genius! I mean, anyone who indulges in anti-social behavior at awards shows & publicly (repeatedly, I might add) proclaims himself the best in the business HAS to be a genius, no?

All my life I’ve waited to hear someone who can boast so well and in tune with a backbeat, that pretty much sums up all elements of Kanye West’s music, except for him carrying on about how great he is. And as for Taylor Swift, how dare she win competing with Beyonce, even though Beyonce has probably won enough awards to engulf the entire surface area of her huge ass. Oh well Taylor, grow a big ass, get an idiotic hairstyle or 60, make more annoying high pitched noises in your songs, and remember u must only use about 4 phrases over and over in them. Here’s a suggestion: Go to a books store ( if you know what that even is), go to the classic sectiona and find Shakespeare. Read it and then make a bloody song about it – you would do better that citating a bloody “R & J” all the time!
