Mark Wahlberg could have saved The World Trade Center
This is news to me but Mark Wahlberg was scheduled to be on one of the hijacked 9/11 planes which crashed into the World Trade Center; but that was before he changed his flight in order to attend the Toronto Film Festival.
In a recent interview with Men’s Journal, Marky Mark Mr. Wahlberg noted that the events of the day would have transpired along a much different path had he been on that flight.
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” said Wahlberg, 40. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”
It’s a shame we find out about this 10 years after the fact. Had we known Wahlberg could be such a useful asset in the fight against Islamist extremists, we could have saved a lot of blood and treasure by sending him (and perhaps some of his action star friends) to the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is also worth noting that more people should be like Mark—so many disasters and tragedies could be averted if everyone would just step up and say how they could have prevented the loss of lives ten years hence. Had there been even just one parent on that plane who cared as much about his children as Mark does, things would have turned out much differently.

He would totally haven saved them.
I wish I could be more like him *sigh*
Him, Stallone, Willis, Norris…
Those are the real American heroes when they get a chance to be.
C’mon, he’s a B-actor that has been able to make millions in his relatively-short career.
He can do it…or could have, anyway.
I think Mark is a fantastic actor, but we all say things without thinking sometimes and this is one of those times. Mark dear…there were a lot of hero’s that day who lost their lives trying to stop those complete idiots from letting another plane go into a populated area. It’s easy to see what we have to do now since we been exposed to kind of attack. No one not even you knew what was going on back then…most on board the two planes that crashed into the World Trade Center thought it was a highjacking…not a terror attack of the nation. I’m giving you a break…cuz if I was on any plane with anyone even remotely similiar to those terrorist, I think you would fight…thanks.
would of, could of, should of…. The story of the world

It is only because it IS 10 years later that he can make such pronouncements. If he said this in 2002, he would have been lambasted.
