Tyra Banks Can Write?!
Oh the anticipation!
Life is grand! Every day there is something new to be learned or awed by. Today’s gem is the news about Tyra Banks’ foray into ‘literature’. She has apparently signed a deal to write a series of fantasy novels about the world of modeling.
She has already finished the first, called “Modelland”, which is about a teen girl in a make-believe society at an academy for exceptional models called Intoxibellas. It will be published in the summer of 2011. (Reuters)
Clear your calendars everyone, and put money aside for this book is sure to sweep the World in a reading fever. Those of you who are smart enough will buy multiple copies for sale on ebay; as the book is sure to become a collector’s item, but probably not for the right reasons.
This’ll probably sell as well as Oprah’s best-selling “Thin to fat and back again in a day”.
Also, what the hell is a book?
It’s not enough for her to poison TV, now she has to cross over into books as well? *sigh*
I wonder if they will have an entire chapter on eating disorders…
I don’t know about the “eating disorders”, but i did hear there is a chapter about the “bleating porters” who complained to much and were served up a dose of “oh no you din’t”.
I have a feeling that, at worst, these books will make Twilight seem good; at best, they’ll simply be on the same level as Twilight.

My girlfriend loves the show. She claims that it’s more mind-numbing than drugs. She watches one episode after another on DVD non-stop. She’s also an avid reader. F%ck.
I’m screwed.
Maybe we should all write books about Tyra Banks-maybe a fantasy novel about how she got her own show after throwing cell phones at everyone she knows, turning them into Unicorns.
