Obama and Bernanke Agree on the Obvious

In a meeting with the Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, President Obama discussed the economic recovery and agreed that there is still much work to be done.

Obama said he and Bernanke emphasized “dealing with folks who need help,” saying measures like passing unemployment insurance and getting credit flowing to small businesses will result in a generally good economic trend. (Market Watch)

Really? Our great economic mind thinks we should take care of people who need help? This is brilliant. It’s a good thing we don’t have a half-wit as the Fed Chairman or they may have suggested that the government start by helping people who need to help. Or they may have even given billions of dollars to banks leaving the regular people to suffer.

  1. “Or they may have even given billions of dollars to banks leaving the regular people to suffer”

    Bush’s folly, not Obama’s…

Obama’s folly is keeping Bernanke in office after we cleaned the elephant circus out…

    • First: you missed the joke
Second: Bush did not push the bill, Congress (on both sides) did- they had to take care of the people who pay for their campaigns.

  2. I REAALY want to hear peoples thoughts on who’s fault this is: Obama or Bush. Pfft.

  3. Ahhhh… The perks of being an independent. I can blame everyone. Except me, of course.
