The Cause of Americans Losing Their Job: Obama
President Obama does not realize that he is the reason why many people can no longer voice their opinions for the fear of losing their jobs or being harassed by liberals. One prime example of Obama’s devastating impact on the job-market has been our beloved Lou Dobbs. As you may well know, he is no longer with CNN. He abruptly resigned last week from his show on CNN stating that he could no longer operate with management constantly pushing for Dobbs to stop voicing his opinion on air.
“You know, I discern more of a difference between then, which was under the Bush administration whom I was criticizing, and now, when it is the Obama administration and an entirely different tone was taken,” Dobbs said. (NYDailyNews.com)
Someone should tell Lou that TV is funny like that. When you are criticizing someone that no one likes people watch and your ratings go up; but if you are criticizing someone that most people like then it’s going to hurt your ratings and your network bosses are not going to be happy about that.
Too bad he wanted to remain consistent in his beliefs and opinions.

Whats blowing my mind is the fact that the same ppl who are saying Obama isnt to blame and we should focus on the economy are pretty much the same one turning around and blaming bush. i thinkgiven the circumstances of when he was elected first term, he did the best he could. by the end of his second he couldve been doing alot better. i dont think obama is doing his best whatsoever right now. but i do agree that is SUPPOSE to be cleaning the mess of Bush…like Bush had to do with Clinton…like Clinton had to do with Bush Sr…and so on and so on. everyone in office leaves a mess for the next one to clean. But hey! Lets just blame it all on Bush some more now that hes retired out of office chilling. Yep. Cause hes making HUGE political decisions now. Totally makes sense! And lets just forgwt the fact that Obama has actually come out and say that if anyone challenges him, he will confront them. HELLO! This is America and you are in the highest position in the freeworld! OF COURSE people are going to disagree with you!
Definitely agree with you there. As I was saying above, the only way to fix the cycle of one “tyrant” leaving a mess for the next one to clean up, in my opinion, would be a complete revamp of the political system. This, of course, might leave you with Swedish socialism, Chinese communism, or indeed North Korean dictators-for-life – none of which are a desirable outcome for all of the USA (although I’d favour a benevolent and highly skilled Macchiavellian despot myself, it’s just not a workable solution for a country your size and population).
Don’t forget, at one point it was not cool to bad mouth Bush either. ( Dixie Chicks!!) I think everyone at some point gets defensive of whatever president is in office, regardless of race or mental retardation.
I just love the fact that you guys still believe that politicians come through on their election promises. It’s so sweet, the faith you have.
Some of you are still mistaking irony for sarcasm however. There is a difference- granted, it’s slight and the line is fuzzy. In the greater scheme of things, it’s probably fairly academic and can also be mistakenly substituted by trueisms.

If you check the article, Dobbs resigned. He wasn’t fired. And I totally agree with Ariel. News is a form of entertainment. Think about your favorite show… Would it still run if it didn’t make its viewers happy? Of course not. Now that the political climate has shifted to a pro-democratic stance, the news has to follow that shift or lose its loyal viewers.
Free speech is the most important thing. I teld to vote on a left wing perspective, but im skeptically of Mr. Obama. Im glad that he broke the stupid ancient slave/rights barrier and became president. But there still is no reason why a man or woman should be voted in according to their race. Race does not actually exist. The only “race” is the Human Race, the only difference is how we look and our values on life. This difference is called Ethnicity. Mr. Obama got voted in because he promised to fight for the common working class people, which it so happens that a lot of this population is the ethnicity of African American. He bailed out CEOs and left the working class to lost jobs. This is why his rating have signifigantly gone down.

How can you blame any administration on our economic recession? For crying out loud, take a BASIC economics class and you will find out that, THIS IS NORMAL. Yes it sucks, and we’ve all been effected by it (I’m no exception). For those of you who don’t know, a Capitalist market (like the U.S.) runs in cycles. Essentially it’s a boom and bust system. After a period of a rising market (boom) there will be a recession. And after a recession, the market will rise again. Then there will be another recession. It’s inevitable, and the way our country has been running since 1776. And the stimulus packages did very little for our economy as a whole. Just like the “New Deal” of the great depression. It did very little for our economy. In fact, it took WWII to bring us out of that one.
Now, I like Obama about as much as I liked Bush in his last years in office; basicly, I don’t like him. What did it for me with bush was the patriot act. With Obama I disagree on more points than I care to mention. Take health care for example. Government provided healthcare is too close to socialism for my comfort. I’d much rather work my ass off to pay my health bills than anyone else pay them for me. I refuse to be dependant on taxpayers.
Call me racist for saying this, but yes, I DISAGREE WITH OBAMA quite a lot! And No I’m not Republican, nor am I a Democrat.
