From a totally outside perspective, Obama is the best thing to happen to America in decades! I cant understand why people hate him now. Sure hes had to make some TOUGH policy decsions but frankly America’s social polices were a relic, old, and stagnant. On welfare, health, environment, renewable fuel, carbon emissions and employment everything needed updating. PLEASE note im not claiming anybody else is doing better, but to an outsider its obvious that all Bush did was prop up an aging economic model.

On Foreign policy Obama has not put a foot wrong, hes massively increased America’s international standing, brought America into treaties that the rest of the world signed years ago and hugely REDUCED the chance of America being attacked. Sound odd??? well think of Bush’s plan to put missle bases in eastern Europe. All that did was turn Russia from a loyal partner into a bitter rival all for a defence that would work for eleven more years against an enemy that doesnt yet exist with a missle that probably wouldnt work (Remember the patriot? how many SCUDs did it shoot down?) This is one example of how international co-operation creates in much better results than marching armies about whereever it pleases generals.

In Conclusion Obama has made some TOUGH decisions but America is better for it. It might not be obvious yet but wait three years and it will be seen to pay off and hopefully win him another term.

sick of hearing ohhh poor obama is just trying to clean up bushs mess crap…..bush was cleaning up clintons mess…..clinton had bin ladens postition in his hands numerous times and every time refused to take him down quickly and quietly…if he would have taken him out we wouldnt have had 9-11. And its not that the republicans refuse to work with the Dems…the democrates are keeping them out…THEY refuse to work with the republicans…pelosi is leading their way to non bipartisanship

Personally I think that Obama should spend more time in OUR COUNTRY and worry about us than other countries right now… SERIOUSLY.. its too late to worry about who voted for who and all that other sill bullshit.. He won hes the President so suck it up… and NO I did not VOTE for him and color had nothing to do with it. I believe he made too many promises that he could not keep, he wasnt aware of what he was getting into when he made them- he dosent know the military and maybe he should have taken the advice/wisdom or council of someone who has been there-done that before he said anything about pulling anyone out.. We might be getting out Iraq, to get moved to Afganistan, and Korea.

erm…. aren’t Obama’s aproval ratings down the toilet? I guess if you disagree with him you are out. Dobbs disagree’s with a few points that cross administrations. Good for him. CNN is a joke of a network, and the 2012 election will put them where they belong – in the background.

Right, he’s not doing anything. It’s all Obama not doing anything, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Republicans in Congress blocking and delaying his every attempt to do anything. Let’s just blame the President, because as we all know, he can just ignore Congress and pass whatever he wants all on his own, right? MAybe if Republicans would realize the election is over, and they lost and start getting into work together mode, we could get a lot more accomplished. The Democrats worked with Bush in all 8 years of his Presidency, it’s time for the Republicans to return the favor. Compromise is a necessity.
