I refuse to get the flu vaccine, H1N1 or otherwise. My immune system works well. I very rarely get sick. It is better to let your body fight it off naturally if you are a regular, healthy adult. Only immunocompromised ppl should get the vaccine. The more you use vaccines to avoid illness, the weaker your immune system is because it never has to work as it is designed to do. Vaccines need to be reserved for serious illnesses like polio, mumps, etc. that are a serious threat to even healthy individuals.

It truly is just hypochondria, there are fewer people who have died from the H1N1 flu, (aka swine flu), as well as the avian flu combined than die from the regular strain of flu that goes around during the year….ugh hypochondriacs

Swine flu is good for you! Come on, you’re gonna feel so much better when it’s over! So go kiss a pig, and I’m not just talkin about your girlfriend either. I mean sure if that’s your thing go ahead and do it but seriously, you really need to kiss a pig. You’ll emerge from your sickness a better person for the pain you’ve been through. ;p

And yet with all the hypochondria, my coworker with the flu came to work today and wore a face mask. However, he wore it over his mouth and not his nose. I asked him why he was bothering to wear it at all, since it just made him look like a moron.
