Nike to unveil LeBron James sneakers just in time for the new school year

LeBron James SnakersNike is about to reveal its new line of sneakers, named after LeBron James, which will retail for $315.

The coming $315 LeBron X Nike Plus, due in the fall, is expected to come embedded with motion sensors that can measure how high players jump. (WSJ)

Now that’s just something indispensible that Nike customers were clamoring for. It is imperative for have the latest sneakers while sitting on the couch, eating a meat-lovers pizza and watching basketball. It is even more important to be outfitted properly when going out to see a basketball game, as there will be other fans who will be showing their love of the sport by donning a variety of basketball paraphernalia. And surely, the new $315 sneakers will be the footwear to own.

Aside from sporting events, the sneakers will be highly valuable among teenagers who idolize LeBron and wish to grow up to be just like him one day, and having sneakers named after him will be the first step in realizing this dream. After all, all the kids whose parents spent hundreds of dollars on Air Jordans are now basketball stars, and who can argue with a great investment like that?

  4. It warms my heart to see parents take an active interest in their children. Expensive sneakers will do so much for their futures – far more than say – Hooked on Phonics.
