Look ma! Grandma got perky new boobs!

Written by The Sarcasmist on August 11, 2011 - Comments (6)

Grandparents are becoming hip and taking advantage of all that modern technology has to offer. In one case, a, 83-year-old great grandmother of 12 got breast implants. The operation enhanced her from a size 32A to a 36C. Marie Kolstad is a resident of Orange County, California. Who would have thought that such vanity would rear its head out in California, right?

Many are saying that people who are at or near Marie’s age should not undergo cosmetic surgery due to health consideration. But what these people don’t realize is that even women who are Marie’s age are under constant pressure from images on the television and magazines to look hot, even if it’s only a small part of their body that is being enhanced.

The New York Times was the first to report this story. Marie said to the New York Times, “My mother lived a long time, and I’m just taking it for granted that that will happen to me. And I want my children to be proud of what I look like.”

Ms. Kolstad knows what she is talking about; after all, she is a wise old woman. Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are always looking at their elders and thinking, “I wish my grandma had bigger boobs,” or “I wish she had a tighter rump.”

Hopefully, people will soon get off Marie’s case and let her live her life in peace.

I just hope the doctor left in some wrinkles for an organic look.

Ah, to age gracefully. What does it really mean, according to whom and why? (if there was a national geographic article, it would be enriching, am sure).

Although somewhat incestuous, the following words were funny(“I wish my grandma had bigger boobs,” or “I wish she had a tighter rump.”)

  2. I think that was sarcasm? LOL wow….. just wow.

  3. Did they also enlarge her ribcage as well? Just wondering since she went from a 32A to a 36C. The number is how many inches you are around the ribs and the letter is the cup size.

  4. People have the right to do whatever they feel better for them.

  5. “even if it’s only a small part of their body that is being enhanced.” Yeah, and I guess a 32A breast size is definitely a small part, right? And yes, I have room to talk; that’s about the size I am. :P

  6. WTF wrinkled boobs for an “organic look”!
