Titanic fan slaps noisy kid
Yong Hyun Kim, slapped a noisy 10-year-old in the face after the pre-teen refused to keep quiet during a showing of Titanic 3D. The slap was also to help protect his girlfriend from flying popcorn which presumably kept hitting moviegoers.
Kim, claims that he thought he was hitting an adult, but that won’t help him with the second-degree assault charge he is facing, since apparently it doesn’t matter who you hit, it’s against the law regardless of whose face you emblazon with your hand-print.
Despite these types of occurrences, people still complain about high movie ticket prices. What they don’t realize is that the higher the price, the less likely it is that noisy people will be able to afford them. So hopefully this confrontation will result in movie theater patrons asking for higher ticket prices to help keep the movies noise free.
Another solution would be for the theaters to hire official ‘Slappers’, whose responsibility would be to slap anyone who is making excessive noise. There would, of course, be a need for a new warning printed on the back of each ticket stub.
What, so only people on lower incomes behave badly in public? Are you sure about that?

what about annoying teenage girls with rich parents? i’m all for hiring official slappers, but your i think your logic about raising movie prices to keep out annoying people is completely off.
poor people sit in the comfort of their own home and steal movies off the internet. we aren’t interested in buying a $13 small popcorn so we can throw it at people. that’s probably the only meal we can afford for the week with those kind of prices. poor people don’t take that shit for granted. ;P
