White House Condemns Kabul Bombings. Damn Right!

bush-karzaiIn a bold and ruthless move, the White House has condemned the attack that killed six (including one American), saying that the United States would not be intimidated.

What is the actual plan you ask? Well, the United States is going to support a run-off election (negotiated by Senator John Kerry) on November 7th between between incumbent President Hamid Karzai and his former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah, both of whom got fraudulent votes during the primary election. Thereafter we’ll probably send 40,000 more troops in harm’s way just to extend the misery of everyone involved before finally admitting that the war is unwinnable.

What I don’t understand is why Afghans are upset that the U.S. is supporting the two candidates who got to the top of the list by committing fraud (or allowing fraud to be committed)? These people are nuts. We are trying to forcibly bring a corrupt pseudo-democracy to their country and they are upset with us. Bastards!

Dear Mr. President , please bring our troops home!

    Dear Dave,

I know Bush was a real F*up but if just showing a picture of him is bashing I guess he was more F*up than I thought. Believe me I would love to get those 8 years back or at least be allowed to forget them. Unfortunately Bush put us in two wars whith out much regard to “strateegery” as he liked to call it and now Obama is caught in a catch 22. If you pull out of Iraq or Afghanistan the right wing will call you a whimp and soft on terror and accuse you of wasting the lives of all our troops who gave their lives for GW’s wacky attempt at “Nation Building”.
On the other hand if you send more troops and keep us mired down in two wars in which there can never be an end the republicans will say you should have got out or you didn’t try hard enough to win, either way they blame him for the current situation. The democrats will say we told you to get out , why didn’t you listen to us< its all your fault.
I say get out now and cut our losses. Do what we should have done and us our intelligence agencies and special forces to find and eliminate the terrorists and let people who want to live in the desert as if it was the middle ages be.
P.S. I know this is probably full of typos and maybe a misspelled word or two. Don’t waste the few brain cells you have that still function or the time it takes you to form an incomplete thought to tell me what I already know.

Something tells me that he did it on purpose… Combining “asshole” with “hyperbole”…

Course, saying that a war is unwinnable is dumb on anyone’s part… Somebody wins in war… It just isn’t always us… *gasp!*

We’ll back out of the war, and then when it’s written in textbooks it’ll be known as a ‘conflict’ instead.

@Unwinnable: Considering most textbooks are written with liberal bias, nope, probably be written as a war.

And the h key is close to the b key. Fuck the lot of you.

    Union,
You are mistaken. Usually someone wins in the traditional sense. Some wars end in a draw. Korea for example. But in the case of Iraq we won years ago, GW declared victory, but what did we win? Did we defeat an enemy that was trying to opress us as in the American Revolution? No. Did we gain new territory like when we defeated Mexico or Spain? No. Did we reunite our nation? No. Did we defeat an enemy that was threatening our allie’s liberty like when we defeated Germany and Japan In WWII? No. So when our military rolled through Iraq in a matter of days totally wasting the Iraqi military What did we actually win? We won the burden of administering, rebuilding, securing and occupying a foreign country for the next twenty to thirty years at a cost of hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars a year. Boy what a deal! For the Iraqis.
