Why do they call it the blue planet? Because the people living on it are going to choke to death.

Why do they call it the blue planet? Because the people living on it are going to choke to death.

Since the Copenhagen talks started earlier this week, the average temperature of the planet has increased by 1 degree. It is believed that it’s due to the tremendous about of hot air coming out of the discussions.

The great shock of the event has been the empty gestures from rich countries and their attempt to take advantage of developing and third world countries. But they should not be worried, as Winston Churchill so eloquently said, “America will always do the right thing – but only after having exhausted all other possibilities”.

  1. yes, the right thing should always be a last resort.

  2. Technically, even if the right thing were the first resort, it would still be the last. Why would one continue to solve a problem after doing the right thing? Just FYI.

  3. For the same reason they’d attempt every other possible solution, first. They’re idiots.

  4. I don’t justify all of the decisions made by Americans or made for Americans, but you can’t condemn all Americans to be idiots anymore than you can condemn all Muslims to support the actions of Muslim individuals. Grow up.

  5. ‘They’ being the individuals selecting, planning, and overseeing the ‘solutions’ in question.

    sheesh … touchy much?

  6. Someone forgot to read what they typed into the address bar. Grow a sense of humor.

  7. Well, China Brazil and many other countries want to keep getting money for reducing emissions, but the United States is the only one willing to pay other countries to reduce them. They want to get subsidies based on 45% reduction, but they don’t want anyone else to regulate them or have any concequences to not meeting their own emissions standards.
I move that the United States ask China to pay us to reduce out emissions, and that Ecuador pay us to not drill in Alaska.
